Replaced with Gasket which was easy to order frommyou and fit like a glove. Remind others to make note of or closely observe where the long and short screws came from. Think time involved and effort for this 83 YOA will be worth the effort. Probably took longer because of Wrist Artritis. Did remove door and place on supports making job easier. . Read more

This protective component secures the power cord where it enters the washer cabinet, preventing wire damage from movement or strain. Replace if the power cord pulls loose, shows signs of damage at the entry point, or the washer intermittently loses power.
I replaced the start relay and overload switch with the single part Overload/Relay part number AP3119971. Now it operates like new. Had no problem replacing part, just followed instructions. Compressor relay & overload combination kit with all related mounting hardware. Replaces old style relay and overload.
The new overload/relay kit corrected the problem. The Panduit/zip-ties supplied in the replacement kit didn't fit where the illustration showed in the directions but smaller zip-ties connected together did fit and held the relay against the compressor just fine and the sealant had good squeeze-out.
