Service tub gasket that creates a watertight seal between the washer tub and cabinet. Replaces a worn or damaged seal to help stop leaks and limit water damage around the appliance. What it does:
- Seals the tub opening to prevent water from leaking onto the floor during fill, wash and drain cycles.
- Restores the seal that keeps moisture confined to the tub and reduces mildew buildup at the tub edge.
- Helps eliminate spray and dripping that can occur with cracked, torn or hardened gaskets.
- Supports normal drum/tub operation by maintaining the intended tub-to-cabinet seal.
What's included: One tub gasket Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water supply before starting any repair.
- Inspect and clean mating surfaces before installing the new gasket; ensure proper orientation and seating into the groove or mounting channel.
- Use original clamps or fasteners and tighten evenly; replace any missing or damaged mounting hardware before testing for leaks.
