I emailed appliancepartspros.com with what my problem was and they informed me what was wrong they gave me a part number to order, tools needed and a brief explanation how replace the seal. they also have online video's for different repairs. I watched the video for lip seal(part # 207843) replacement.I also had to remove the brake assembly in order to replace the seal so I watched that video also. This control knob allows you to select wash cycles, water temperature, and other settings on your washing machine. It attaches to the control shaft and provides a grip for rotating through different options. Replace this part if the knob is cracked, won't stay in position, or has become difficult to turn.
