The water sensor electrical plug had fallen off due to the extreme vibration of the internal stainless steel clothes basket. The attachment struts had corroded, broken off and sent small pieces into the discharge pump which, in turn, had plugged up and caused the beeping. This is not a simple repair. My washing machine started banging when the spin cycle got close to full speed. After some research I determined that the mounting spindle had probably broken loose. With a manual I found online and a basket from AppliancePartsPros.com I disassembled everything down to just a shell, changed the basket and reassembled the washer.
