This lock nut secures appliance components and resists loosening from vibration. Replacing a stripped, rusted, or missing nut restores a firm, reliable connection to reduce noise and prevent parts from shifting or backing off.
The cylinder roller that supports the dryer drum was worn and needed to be replaced. I ordered the idler pulley shaft and associated parts as well since I wasn't sure if these were worn too. Watching the video on the web site gave me a good idea what was involved and where to look. It wasn't my exact model and make but provided sufficient information on what to look for. The parts were exact fits which was a great relief abd the dryer is running like new again! Read more
Dryer not drying or taking too long? A cracked blower housing disrupts airflow. This assembly restores proper venting for efficient drying cycles.
Size: 26 inches long. F18t8/cw/k26.
I replaced the controller. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get to it. The video on the website showed access to the control via the rear panel. On the Kitchen Aid we have, the back panel is part of the range's main frame and does not come off. Turns out, 2 screws behind the fluorescent lamp had to be removed and the entire control panel housing lifts up and can be tilted forward. (I needed to clean behind the range anyway, so it was no big deal)!! The replacement part instructions... Read more
Dryer outlet grill for the lint filter housing. Covers the opening where lint collects. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing for proper airflow.
This is the socket that holds the drum light bulb inside the dryer. It provides the electrical connection to power the interior light that illuminates the drum when the door is opened. Replace this socket if the dryer drum light does not turn on even with a new bulb, or if the socket appears melted, cracked, or has damaged electrical contacts.
First I tried changing the light bulb. Unfortunately that didn't do the trick. The next thought was the socket itself. I ordered the part from APP, which as usual, was very easy and arrived in 2 days. I removed the back cover from the dryer and easily replaced the socket. Screwed in a new light bulb and we were back in action with light! Truly very simple process. Read more
This motor base is the replacement support that secures and positions the dryer motor assembly, helping restore stable alignment and minimize excess noise or vibration during operation. What it does:
This screw-washer assembly secures panels, brackets, and other appliance components. The integrated washer spreads load and resists loosening, so replacing a worn or missing fastener restores a tight, reliable fit and helps eliminate rattles.
This front drum bulkhead is the stationary front panel that supports the dryer drum and seals the drum opening to maintain proper airflow and drum alignment for reliable drying performance. What it does:
Covers and seals your dryer's exhaust opening to direct airflow and keep debris out. Replace if cracked, warped, or missing to maintain proper venting.
Washer won't drain or leaking water? This gooseneck drain hose channels wastewater from pump to household drain. Fixes clogs and damaged tubing.
Replacement machine bolt for securing panels, brackets, and components in dishwashers, dryers, washers, and laundry centers. Restores fit if missing.
