The tub ring clip is a small plastic or metal fastener that secures the tub ring to the outer tub of a washing machine, holding the two components together during the wash cycle. It prevents the tub ring from shifting or separating under the vibration of spinning and agitation. Replace it if you notice the tub ring is loose, rattling during cycles, or has come free from its mounting position.
Includes 4 rubber washers, 4 metal washers, and 4 screws.

Researched this kenmore washer on-line and found the problem to be the lid switch. Saw a diagram on how to jump this switch by connecting a wire to both outside wires on the harness and voila! It worked! This is not a fix but it allowed me to finish the load of unwashed clothes and told me which part was bad (do not run washer jumped like this.......fire hazard!) Ordered the lid switch and it was an easy repair. A $14.00 switch was a lot cheaper than a $450.00 washer. Thanks appliance parts... Read more
It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. At first, I noticed that the rear felt seal was completely worn out, so I thought that extra friction between the tub and the rear panel might be causing the motor to have to work too hard and overheat.
