This is a metal funnel duct that directs gas from the burner assembly into the dryer drum area. It channels the heated air produced by the gas burner so it flows efficiently through the drum for proper drying. Replace this part if you notice uneven heating, scorch marks near the burner area, or if the original funnel is cracked, corroded, or misaligned.
