This carriage bolt is a self-locking bolt designed to be used in an unthreaded square or round hole. Over time, the vibration of the lawnmower may cause the bolt to become loose. During routine maintenance, if the bolt is loose, use a wrench to tighten the nut holding the bolt in place.
