An idler pulley is an essential part of many small and medium sized gasoline powered tools. This idler pulley is used in equipment such as tillers, lawn tractors, log splitters, edgers, snow blowers, and trimmers. The idler pulley is necessary so that the engine can run without the tool's moving parts being engaged. For instance, a lawn tractor running without the cutting blades turning or the wheels rolling. Once the idler pulley is engaged, the blade begins to turn. There is a great deal of resistance encountered by the idler pulley each time the equipment's tools begin to turn. Over time, the pulley can become worn and will eventually need to be replaced. If there is a squealing sound whenever the moving parts of a lawn tool are engaged, it is probably a sign that the idler pulley is about to fail. The pulley itself is attached to the engine housing with 9/16 hex bolts and requires an adjustable wrench and 9/16 ratchet to remove and replace. Always use a genuine OEM manufactured replacement part such as this one when replacing the original, as this part is identical to the original. This part is compatible with equipment manufactured by Bolens, MTD, Cub Cadet, Huskee, and Troy Bilt.
This is a cylinder that is specifically designed for use with snowblowers. The cylinder is a part of the starter assembly and engine. If the cylinder has gone bad or is damaged, it can cause problems with compression. Pull on the starter rope while holding a thumb against the cylinder hole. If no air comes out of the hole, it could be the result of a damaged component, including the cylinder. When this part isn't operating correctly, it can prevent the snowblower from starting at all.If the cylinder has gone bad, it needs to be replaced. The snowblower will need to be disassembled to get access to this component. This will require a basic set of tools and a pair of work gloves. Make sure the snowblower is turned off and the spark plug wire has been disconnected before replacing the part. This cylinder is an authentic OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual component. The cylinder is created to fit snowblowers manufactured by Craftsman, Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Huskee, Troy-Bilt, MTD, and Yard Machines.
This is a screw used with many kinds of lawn and garden equipment, such as leaf blowers and string trimmers. The screw can be used to attach components together on its own or with the use of a nut. When using a nut with the screw, it should have the same threading and finish as the screw. Wear and tear or breakage can happen with screws over time and will lead to the need to replace them.Corrosion, hot temperature, and stress may all create weakness in a screw. This can cause it to become brittle, loose, or even broken outright. A visual inspection of the screw will give an indication of whether it needs to be replaced with a new one. If a replacement is required, a screwdriver can be used to remove the screw before placing a new one in the same location. This screw can be used with string trimmers, leaf blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and pole pruners manufactured by Paramount, Poulan, Poulan Pro, Weed Eater, Husqvarna, and Craftsman. It is sold as an individual part. The screw is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
An effective trigger is essential to the life and functionality of any chainsaw. Be sure to check the throttle trigger for smooth operation. If any binding occurs, or if the engine fails to return to idle, the saw will require some maintenance and/or replacement parts before being used again. This trigger replacement part may also be necessary if the trigger can be pulled even when the throttle trigger lockout is depressed. The installation process requires the removal of the handle (by unscrewing it), then the removal of the throttle link. That will clear access to the trigger switch, which can then be unscrewed and replaced. Always wear gloves when working with power tools to ensure safety. This genuine trigger replacement part is designed especially for Poulan chainsaw triggers. It is compatible with over 100 different chainsaw models and fits as a direct replacement, providing OEM fit and function, as well as brand-name durability over the long-term.
Mufflers can easily become worn or break off with regular equipment usage. This part can be used to easily replace an existing muffler. Mufflers are designed to quiet the noise made by the engine. As the equipment ages this part can fail, causing the engine to be extremely loud when operated. This muffler is made from high-quality, durable, non-corrosive materials. This muffler is a genuine OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. This muffler is compatible with various different models of Husqvarna and Poulan chainsaws. Please note this part is sold individually.
This starter spring is a genuine OEM replacement part for chainsaws that operate using a starter rope. When an operator pulls the starter rope out, there is a pulley around which the rope then has to recoil. The starter spring maintains tension in the pulley so that the rope will naturally recoil. The starter spring also provides enough tension to prevent the operator from yanking the rope all the way out of the assembly. Through repeated use, and especially if an operator is rough on their appliance, the starter spring can loosen up and will no longer work as effectively. When this happens, the starter pulley will not recoil and the starter rope will hang loose from the appliance. Fortunately, switching out the starter spring is an easy repair that should only require a wrench and a pair of pliers. Be careful when pulling the old spring out. Although it isn't as tense as it once was, it still has the potential to snap back. This replacement starter spring is a high-quality part for Husqvarna, Poulan, and Weed Eater appliances, and as such, it is sourced from its original manufacturer. This part does not ship with any additional hardware.
