Oven hood vent blower switch was inoperative (failed) Paula A. • Pensacola , FL • July 13, 2015
I dismantled the entire hood unit, tested the fan motor, it worked thus I deduced that the
on/off rheostat switch was bad. since it contained some resistors and other solid state components that I couldn't bench test I reasoned this was the logical failed part; a further clue was a bit of a burned or over heated area on the sw. circuit board.
Ordered the part, installed it, it works as per original. all is well.
