This cover assembly attaches to the back or bottom of the refrigerator to enclose and protect the compressor and related components. It helps keep dust and debris away from the compressor area while providing a finished appearance. Replace this cover if it is cracked, broken, or missing, which can allow dirt buildup on the compressor and condenser that reduces cooling efficiency.
