I was a little concerned when the parts arrived as my refrigerator is a Kenmore and the parts were Frigidaire but thought that Frigidaire makes Kenmores. Also viewed the video instructions and it showed repairing the plate for the freezer door but learned from your Q&A that they are ambidextrous. Remove the wire harness and any individual wires attached to the old board. After that, pull the old board out of its mounting brackets to fully remove it from the refrigerator. Reinsert the wires into their correct terminals on the new board and snap it into its mounting brackets. Once secured, reinstall the inner panel of the refrigerator and restore power to the appliance. Replace both thee the dispenser lever and the housing as both had broken tabs. Took about 45 minutes. Pretty straight forward repair. Easy enough that you can simply look at it to see how it comes apart. Tip: to get main panel off, remove 3 screws under drip tray then the panel slides up to come off door. Read more
