Douglas M Marquette , MI February 18, 2019 Appliance: Model 253.54622400 When the refrigerator door was opened and closed on my side by side it made a loud popping noise Ordered a door closer plate and a lower and upper hinge bearing. I was a little concerned when the parts arrived as my refrigerator is a Kenmore and the parts were Frigidaire but thought that Frigidaire makes Kenmores. Also viewed the video instructions and it showed repairing the plate for the freezer door but learned from your Q&A that they are ambidextrous. Also showed that I needed to disconnect the water line and electrical connections but after viewing the repair for the lower hinge that dealt with the refrigerator door that this was not necessary. With that the repair was quite easy. I believe we were finished in about 10 minutes. Didn't need to replace the upper hinge bearing but did it anyway as long as I had it. It would have been more hassle to return it I am sure. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
