A ball bearing is a common type of rolling-element bearing. It will use balls to keep space between the bearing races and eliminate friction and contact between moving parts. Ball bearings used in lawn and garden equipment ensure that axial loads and radial loads are evenly supported and that there is only a limited amount of rotational friction on the component. It distributes weight evenly, but will undergo constant wear and tear from vibration, heat, and friction and will need replacement regularly. This ball bearing is a genuine OEM part suited to use in Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, MTD, Huskee, Yard Machines, Bolens, Mastercut, and Yard-Man equipment. It may be needed for repair work done on a lawnmower, snowblower, tiller, edger, or a log splitter.

The drive V-belt, manufactured by Craftsman, is used in one- and two-stage snow blowers as well as tillers. This is a drive belt that connects the engine to the auger of the tiller or snowblower via a pulley at either end. This turns the blades of the tiller or the auger blades of the blower to expel snow. As a flexible, hardened rubber part connecting other moving parts, a V-belt is considered “replaceable,” meaning that users should expect to have to replace this part during normal use of the equipment. Signs that a drive V-belt may be going bad are a squealing sound when the blower's auger or the tiller's blades are first engaged, or if the auger is slow to engage and loses power during use. To replace the V-belt, the equipment must be secured and the spark plug caps removed. Tilt the device to reveal the location of the belt. It must detached from the engine pulley and the transmission pulley. When replacing the V-belt, before tightening the pulley, make sure all moving parts are properly aligned. This genuine OEM part is compatible with machines sold by MTD, Yard Man, Craftsman, and Yard Machine.
