Cleaning the screws can make it easier to see if the screw has been broken or damaged in any way. In some cases, these screws can also become loose, which also indicates a replacement is required. Remove the old screw using the appropriate screwdriver and install the new screw before running the engine again. This is a genuine OEM replacement part directly from the manufacturer.
