This is a side x side. I removed the refrigerator door first, laid it on the counter, These doors have screws all around under the gaskets. Loosed the screws, removed the old gasket. I left the new gaskets in the sun while I removed the old ones. Stated with the new gasket in one corner then the opposite corner then continued around the door. Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new.
