This is the planetary gear assembly used in the dishwasher's wash system. It drives the rotation of the spray arms to ensure even water distribution during wash and rinse cycles. Replace this assembly if the spray arms are not rotating properly, dishes are coming out dirty, or you notice grinding noises during operation.
This is the lower gear case housing that encloses the internal gears and drivetrain of a stand mixer.
