Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. 2 terminal interlock switch.
The limit switch would get "stuck" in the on position so I changed that. Also changed the actuator pad for good measure as I mine was worn and dirty. You'll need a T15 driver (torx) to access the panel, then a small phillips screwdriver to remove the limit switch. This fix takes about 10-15 minutes. Dispenser functions properly now, shutting off when released. No more spillage. Read more
