Replaced broken part. This was a simple fix. The only complication was that SEARS sent me the WRONG PART THREE TIMES and the first part they sent WAS BROKEN. Bought the suspected part from ApplicancePartsPros.Com, found a Youtube on the dishwasher replacement of the control panel. Oops - dropped a screw into drain so had to open that with a Youtube video showing how, removed the screw, replaced the control panel. It seems to work. We had a stuck button, normal wash blinking and not releasing therefore dishwasher did not work. Latches were more difficult to operate to release control panel that the simple instructions.
