The new overload/relay kit corrected the problem. The Panduit/zip-ties supplied in the replacement kit didn't fit where the illustration showed in the directions but smaller zip-ties connected together did fit and held the relay against the compressor just fine and the sealant had good squeeze-out. This air filter is manufactured by Tecumseh and is an OEM replacement part for select compatible engines on lawn and garden equipment. The air filter system in an engine is designed to help ensure maximum airflow and remove dirt and debris from the air as it is entering the carburetor and the engine. This filter is made of durable plastic and composite paper materials and includes metal screening to help catch more debris and ensure the filter holds its shape. The air filter will collect particles of dirt and debris, and over time it can become clogged from regular use. Air filters should be replaced regularly as a part of routine maintenance, and this replacement part will do the job for models that take the filter. Always disconnect the spark plug when performing maintenance. Replace air filters annually or as needed and choose genuine OEM parts like this filter for the best results. This OEM filter can be used with several different engines made by Tecumseh, including 7, 8, and 10 HP models. This part may be used on generators, wood chippers, or other small engines from Briggs & Stratton, Craftsman, Tecumseh, MTD, and Simplicity.
