This turntable shaft (MH-8) connects the microwave's turntable motor to the glass tray hub so the tray spins for even heating. Replace it when the tray won't rotate, slips intermittently, or makes grinding/clicking noises.

Turned the microwave on its back. Took a hammer and screwdriver to punch out the small access door for the motor, unscrewed two screws holding the motor and unplugged the the wiring harness. Attached the new motor with the two screws and plugged the wiring harness back on. Finally, attach the access door with the screw.
