This is a complete gasket kit that is sold as a genuine OEM replacement for MTD lawn and garden equipment engines. The engine contains various gaskets throughout the components that are responsible for creating a good seal and ensuring the proper flow of air and fuel through the equipment. Over time, these gaskets can become worn, brittle, or warped and should be replaced. It is always best to replace all of the gaskets at the same time with this OEM complete gasket kit. It is manufactured by MTD and designed to work with select engines from Troy-Bilt, MTD, and Cub Cadet. It is a good idea to inspect gaskets while performing other engine repairs or maintenance. This can help identify issues before they become bigger problems and allow for a quick gasket repair instead of a total engine overhaul. The gaskets should be replaced one at a time and the area where they sit should be cleaned to ensure a good seal. Never take all of the gaskets out and try to replace them at once. It can be confusing and it may be difficult to get things back together. This complete gasket kit includes all of the gaskets that are needed for a full engine replacement.
