Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. When trouble shooting the problem I found that the light switch housing outer lip was broken allowing the switch to push through mounting surface behind the oven door. This is a slide in range so, I proceeded to pull the range away from the counter where I could unplug the power cord. Once the power was off like located the panel on the right upper side of the unit and removed the screws to allow access to the switch.
