This is a metal liner that sits inside the broil drawer at the bottom of the range, protecting the cabinet floor from grease, drips, and heat damage. It provides a smooth, cleanable surface beneath the broiler element or heating area. Replace this liner if it is rusted, warped, or has burn-through holes that allow grease to reach the range cabinet.
