This is the dual radiant surface element. This is the part that supplies heat to the cooking area on the top surface of the range. A good sign that the dual radiant surface element needs to be replaced is if the burner is not working. The burner may not heat at all, or it won't heat consistently. Allow the unit to cool down before trying to replace this part to avoid burns. Be sure to unplug the appliance from its power source or shut off the house circuit breaker for the range before attempting to repair or replace this part. The replacement process takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete and is fairly easy to do.This genuine OEM dual radiant surface element is compatible with ranges that are manufactured by Frigidaire, Kenmore, and Crosley. Followed online videos on replacing door hinge on stove. Changed both hinges and receivers. While door was apart to change hinge good time to give a good cleaning came out like it was new.
