This is a heating element designed for the warming drawer of a range. It provides low, consistent heat to keep food warm after cooking. Replace this element if your warming drawer no longer heats, heats unevenly, or has visible damage such as cracks or burn marks.
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.
