The ice maker assembly is the complete unit inside your freezer responsible for automatically producing and releasing ice cubes. It cycles water into molds, freezes it, and ejects the cubes into the ice bin. Replace this part if your refrigerator has stopped making ice, is producing misshapen cubes, or the ice maker is leaking water.
I found the correct part on the website that I needed very easily and received it within two days with only regular shipping. The email I received letting me know that my parts were on the way also included a YouTube link that showed me exactly how to remove the broken part and install the new part.
