I had a friend watch the video and do the work. There was a problem in that the screws were rusted to the back plate and would not screw off. My friend had to use a drill to drill through them to be able to remove them. He had to go to a hardware store to buy a new set. Once we had the new screws it went fairly quickly. This hinge pin clip secures the hinge pin in place to ensure your appliance door operates smoothly and stays properly aligned. It prevents the hinge pin from sliding out during normal door operation. If your door is sagging, won't stay closed properly, or you hear rattling when opening and closing, this clip may have come loose or broken.
Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new.
