This is a timer that is used on washing machines. It controls the electrical components and the length of time of the washing machine's cycles. Be sure to unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before beginning repairs. Some people performing the replacement or repair may wish to wear work gloves to protect their hands. The replacement process only takes about ten minutes to complete from start to finish. When the timer will not advance, it is likely that the washing machine cycles will not run at all or won't run consistently. The appliance may not advance through the various cycles like the washing, rinsing, and spinning cycles and may get stuck on one of the cycles. This timer is compatible with washing machines that are manufactured by Kenmore, Gibson, Westinghouse, and Frigidaire. It is sold individually and is sourced directly from the manufacturer and a genuine OEM part.
