The Foot Pad Kit for Whirlpool ranges is an OEM part specifically designed to fit underneath the grates. These small but critical components provide cushioning and stability for the grates, preventing them from scratching the cooktop surface and reducing noise and movement during cooking.
Symptoms of worn or missing Foot Pads include:
- Grates that wobble or shift during use
- Increased noise, such as rattling or scraping, when moving pots and pans
- Scratches or other damage to the cooktop surface beneath the grates
- Uneven cooking surfaces which can affect the stability of cookware
Causes of degradation in foot pads can include high heat exposure, frequent cleaning that wears down the material, or the natural breakdown of rubber or silicone over time.
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

The knobs and knob skirt were old and discolored Albert M. • Casper , WY • July 25, 2016
Simple. Just pulled out the old and popped in the new. Rangetop looks much better, though grates and burner rings (no longer available) could use repainting with heat resistant enamel or some other treatment.

Smelled gas pulled out the electric cord scratched my head went on line and purchased a hot plate! Rose Marie D. • Rancho Palos Verdes , CA • September 27, 2015
Loved the hot plate so as long as it was just me and my husband, I was all right with the lack of a cook top. When I cleaned up the cook top, I observed that one of the Control nobs has a piece of plastic protruding from the sleeve. Dah! I ordered a brand new set of Control Knobs and Knob Skirts to match and after I placed my order, I checked with Amber to see if the items were compatible with my cook top. Yes, they were ... (Thank you Amber).
I installed the items I ordered with my hands,...

I have an older kitchenaid glass cooktop and was looking too spruce it up with new grommets and control knobs Eileen K. • Carson City , NV • October 07, 2016
The knobs were perfect. However, the grommets arrived in black rather than white. A phone call to customer service informed me that this part is no longer available in white and that the site would remove the photo. Rather than return the plastic grommets I spray painted them with white Rust-oleum paint for plastic that was in the garage and they look fresh and new.

No spark at any of the four burners Robert S. • Hollister , CA • August 26, 2016
Sealed burner gas cooktop has to be removed from the counter top in order to disassemble. This means disconnecting the gas line. To disassemble the unit you will have to remove the gas line regulator. Once the unit is separated you will see the spark module. I replaced the module. Note: Because the new module has been updated from the original it does look different. I suggest you put the new module along side the old taking one wire at a time from the old to the new. If your unit is as old as...

The gas oven's pressure regulater wasn't working Derek W. • Fairview , OK • July 22, 2016
To test what the problem was, I removed the pressure regulater from the oven. I attempted to gently blow though the regulater with my mouth, and no air came out. I blew a lot harder , and very little air came out. I decided that must be the reason the oven wouldn't light. The new regulater would pass a very light puff of breath.
It was very easy to replace,
