I had to disassemble the ice bucket, there were three screws to remove the cover, one screw and a tension spring that holds the bar in place that controls ice cubes from crushed ice. The hardest part was removing the plastic chamber where the ice crushing blades are attached to the auger, I had to use a couple of butter knives to spread the outer ice bucket away from the inner ice chamber because they had those funky plastic lock-in tabs that lock the ice chamber in place to the ice bucket. Replacing the roller assembly corrected the problem. The key to replacing the roller assembly is elevating the refrigerator high enough to remove the roller assembly. I made the right initial move - I went to appliancepartspros.com and located the necessary parts. A video convinced me I could make the repairs myself. Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. Old tubes can be cleaned but will recolonize quickly. Read more
