Fixing it was extremely easy, I just followed the instructions provided in the AppliancePartsPros video. After getting the part I simply shut off the water to the fridge, unhooked the part's water lines, unclipped the head inside the fridge, installed the new one and reconnected the lines. Took about 15 minutes and likely saved $300 (what a service person would have charged). It was simple. Read more
I called Sears to schedule a service call for Sat. Morning. At 11:00 a.m. A service man called and said he was going to do the service call (the original tech was going to be delayed), so he had been scheduled instead. I was able to trace my water leak back to a crack in the drip pan. I thought, in order to patch the leak until my parts arrive, I would take the drip pan out and tape the crack. When I was trying to take it out, I cracked the shroud. So I called AppliancePartsPros.com and they were able to walk me through a plan of action and add the shroud to my order.
