• Remove the lower access panel/kickplate to access the sump; note orientation before removal

Ice dispenser not working or jamming? This auger coupling connects the motor to the ice bin auger. Moderate DIY repair requires a wrench and hammer.

The ice dispenser auger is located in the freezer's ice compartment and moves ice from the storage bin to the dispenser chute. Replace it if ice jams frequently, dispenses slowly, or makes grinding noises during operation.
