Video is super helpful. Took the covers off and unplugged everything, noticed the doorflap clip was broken on one side and the strike had come detached from the thing that moves it. Put in the new doorflap and re-attached the strike, re-attached the plugs and re-screwed everything easily. One note - we had to remove 15 screws and they were all different, so keep them organized for reassembly. Read more

We were ecstatic that we were able to fix the unit ourselves. We had a Jenn Air suggested appliance repair company come out and tell us that the unit (built in) would not work unless we ordered the crispers ($600 each) and that they were actually discontinued.
