I ordered the hinges and took the door off the oven. No tools are required for removal of oven door. Upon removal there are a total of 8 screws to remove to separate the oven door. This allows you to simply remove the old springs on each side of the door. The toughest part is putting enough tension to refine the new springs on the door. This is the second time I have had to replace in 3 years. Thermador oven door is too heavy for the springs to no stretch over time. Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Repair was a bit difficult as the appliance was sitting between two cabinets and air handler sit right in the middle of the two cabinets. But over all we managed it, I damaged the blower switch in the process so now I need a Blower switch for the same appliance. Thank you. Manny A. Read more
