This DC auger motor drives the ice-dispensing auger in the freezer door, restoring proper ice delivery from the dispenser. It replaces a worn or failed motor to get the auger turning again for reliable dispensing. What it does:
Replacing the mullion was easy. Just a few screws at the top and bottom of the door. There is an electrical cord attached to the bottom of the mullion, but the connection to the door electronics is a simple quick disconnect. Be careful pulling it out. Replacing the bin cover is a little more involved. Must remove the bottom bin and both vegetable bins. Then the shelf above the bin can be removed and replaced.
