New grates. They were a bit pricey, but they look great and fit perfectly. For about $250 (replaced burners for $12.50 ea. from another vendor) my 17-year old cooktop looks brand new again. It was working fine, just needed a facelift. Much cheaper than buying a new cooktop. Shipping was relatively quick (not the 1.7 day average) and the packaging was more than adequate. After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. It was an easy repair to swap out the new parts for the old, and the only tool necessary was a #2 phillips screw driver.
