Our refrigerator is over 15 years old and has been working great with only minor complaints and repairs. We noticed that our water level has been discolored from minor dripping. Our hard water discolors everything. We decided to replace this lever and. The ice dispense lever was also replaced since we wanted both to match and I had to open that area anyway. Ordered replacement kit from AppliancePartsPros. New part that was recommended did not look like the original (frig is a Maytag and new part comes in a Whirlpool bag). Chat support assured me it will work. Got it, and put it in per instruction, which was against my better judgement, as the top two wire colors were reversed on the instruction sheet, from what I had taken off. Sure enough, compressor wouldn't start and would stall and kick out the new overload. Reversed top two wires back... Read more

I am so happy! Watched the video in YouTube and how to replace my refrigerator door handles. I ordered the exact handles with the model # of my refrigerator, the handles came in about 4 days, all the way to Hawaii. It took me maybe 10 minutes to replace both handles. I have a 'new' refrigerator! Looks so good. I am a 65 year old woman who is pretty handy with a hammer and screwdriver but anyone could this. Thank you!!!! Read more
