Small linkage secures and positions the pan-chill assembly in your refrigerator, keeping the drain collector aligned. Replace if cracked or broken.
I ordered three parts of the Pan chill system for the GE Profile. The "Dial Pan chill" that connects the "Knob Pan Chill" to the Knob piece had broken in two pieces probably due to age and the cold temperatures that it operates in which is attached to the linkage that opens the door to the refrigerator from the freezer so that the refrigerator will cool down. The parts fixed the problem and I now have a freezer at 0 degrees and the refrigerator at 34 degrees. Read more

This shutter assembly mounts near the chill pan drawer area inside the refrigerator and helps regulate airflow to maintain proper temperature in that compartment. It controls how much cold air reaches the chill pan section to keep items at the ideal temperature. Replace this part if the chill pan area is too cold, too warm, or if the shutter mechanism is cracked, stuck, or no longer opening and closing properly.

Replace this cap if it is cracked, broken, or missing, which can leave a gap and detract from the appliance's appearance.
