Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. CONTACTED THE CO. THAT WE BOUGHT IT FROM AND THEY SAID IT WAS OVER A YEAR OLD . CALLED MAYTAG AND THERE CLOSED TILL THE 4TH OJ JAN. 2016. SO GOT ON THE NET FOUND APPLIANCE PRO THAT HAD THE PART. THEY SHIPPED IT TO ME AND I FIXED THE DOOR GLASS. Read more
