The repair guy told me if I have him fix it I should just buy a new one. I like my washer and dryer because it's a combo and takes up little space so I decided to fix it myself. The belt was off of the pulley and the idler wheel was worn out. I replaced the idler pulley and the spring and put the new belt on and the washer is working fine now. Read more
I replaced the belt and the tensioner along with the spring for it. The tensioner c clip was hard to get to. There wasn't much room for my hands. Read more

Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I like fixing things and I like my 15 year old Frigidaire GLWS1649AS2, so I wanted to fix it.
