Replaced the heater element, per the video. Also had to connect a new terminal to one of the heater element wires. Once the heater was again connected electrically, the washer completed the entire wash cycle without hesitation. (During the time that the heater element was non-functional, the control "dial" would stop near the bottom, about half way through the cycle, and had to be advanced "one click" manually). I took the pump apart to exam, checked drain hose and sink drain first, everything looked OK. After studying the problem for a while I decided it had to be in the filter, ordered a new filter and it took about 10 minutes to replace. After getting the new filter I realized that there was a check ball rattling inside the new one that my old filter did not have anymore, the real cause for the pump not to drain. P.S. Replaced the seal with new one, direct fit, nice tight no leaks, took 5 minutes to replace, make sure to clean inside the grooves before installing new gasket Read more
