The video was quite helpful with step by step instructions. I ordered a belt and idler pulley before dismantling assuming they were the issues. Belt was easy and fit fine but I did not realize the idler pulley was secured with a special fastener, push on cap nut, that would be damaged if removed. So I left it in place. Original pulley seemed fine so I reassembled the dryer. Restarted and of course the noise remained. I ordered the push on fastener and also the drum bearing as a precaution. ... Read more
This wire harness connects the dryer's electrical components to the main power source, typically located behind the control panel. Replace if the dryer won't start, experiences intermittent power issues, or shows signs of burnt or damaged wiring.
