The dryer hi-limit thermostat is a safety device that prevents overheating by shutting off the heating element when temperatures get too high, located on the blower housing or heat source. Replace when clothes take too long to dry, the dryer shuts off prematurely, or when you notice inadequate heat production.

I simply removed and replaced the bake element and light bulb. The only difficulty I had was working around the open oven door. I relied on the Appliance Parts Pros videos for procedures on how to do this safely and correctly. I would not have attempted this repair without the videos.
