This orange plastic filter guide secures the refrigerator water filter in place so the cartridge seats correctly for reliable water flow and a proper seal. It restores correct filter positioning to prevent loose fit or misalignment. What it does:

• Holds the water filter cartridge in the refrigerator filter housing so the filter seats and locks properly
• Helps maintain a correct seal to reduce the chance of leaks or bypassed filtration
• Prevents the filter from shifting or falling out when the door is opened or the dispenser is used

• Turn off the refrigerator water supply and dispense water to relieve pressure before replacing the guide
