My dryer is a 5 year old LG front load. Went to use it and when pressing the power button nothing happened. I had power to the light inside the drum. 3 screws takes the top right off then popped off the front control panel. Replaced the board and put back together and dryer works great again. From start to finish took me about 30 min to fix. Really easy. Read more
This is a four ribbed poly V belt.
I spoke with the experts at parts pro and they suspected the main power board. I ordered the main power board along with the control panel. Since I was taking everything apart I decided to replace other components as well- thermostats, thermistor , sensor wire. When I was all done the old LG was back to working like new. Thought heating element was bad but turned out to be short in power cord which I had to order new wiring hardness. First time ordering from Appliance Parts. They had the best price, better shipping price and said normal shipping was 1.7 days. Couldn't get that locally. Never ordered anything online that normal shipping didn't take at least 5 days. Ordered on a Tuesday, setting on my front porch midday that Thursday. Hard to believe over 300 miles away. Read more
