I spoke with the experts at parts pro and they suspected the main power board. I ordered the main power board along with the control panel. Since I was taking everything apart I decided to replace other components as well- thermostats, thermistor , sensor wire. When I was all done the old LG was back to working like new. Thought heating element was bad but turned out to be short in power cord which I had to order new wiring hardness. First time ordering from Appliance Parts. They had the best price, better shipping price and said normal shipping was 1.7 days. Couldn't get that locally. Never ordered anything online that normal shipping didn't take at least 5 days.
