1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The dispenser actuator is a dual-motor mechanism that controls the automatic release of detergent and rinse aid during wash cycles. This component opens and closes dispenser compartments at the proper times during the dishwashing process. Replace it when detergent doesn't dispense properly, compartments don't open, or you hear clicking noises from the dispenser area.
