Replaces a worn, damaged, or misaligned dryer motor pulley. Guides the drive belt and transfers motor power to the drum for proper rotation.
Replaced belt, pulley with a 4 grove pulley. Pulley that was on there was a 3 grove pulley, Had to cut the old one off, Press on to shaft. Replaced rear drum bearing. Bearing was locked on with a snap ring. Access to it from a removable plate on the back side of dryer. Reset belt and idler puller by removing a long back plate on the bottom rear side of the dryer. Gas dryer application
I disassembled the dryer to get to the inner rear so that I could disconnect the old cord and replace it with the new cord. The disassembly process was long about 40 mins (first timer) but not very difficult. The replacement process was extremely easy and the reassembly process took about 10 mins. Read more
