Found the part number and installation instructions online. Ordered the part online through AppliancePartsPros.com. Part arrived within a week. Removed the door from the dryer then removed the face of the door from the rest of the door. The broken part was then easily accessible and replaced. Reattached the door face and reattached the door. Gas dryer application
I disassembled the dryer to get to the inner rear so that I could disconnect the old cord and replace it with the new cord. The disassembly process was long about 40 mins (first timer) but not very difficult. The replacement process was extremely easy and the reassembly process took about 10 mins. Read more
